Edidiong Mendie is a teaching assistant on forensic science projects/coursework at Texas Southern University (TSU). She served as a summer pre-doctoral fellow at the Center for Justice Research at TSU. She is also a peer reviewer at the African Journal of Criminology and Justice Studies. Edidiong is currently in her second year of doctoral study in the Administration of Justice Department of the Barbara Jordan-Mickey Leland School of Public Affairs (BJML) at Texas Southern University. Edidiong is a foreign trained attorney with over three years compliance experience in the oil and gas industry. Edidiong holds a Master of Laws (LL.M) degree in Environment, Energy, and Natural Resources Law from University of Houston Law Center, Barrister at Law (B.L.) degree from Nigerian Law School, Bachelor of Laws (LL.B) (J.D. Equivalent) from University of Benin, Nigeria. Her current research interests include criminal justice reforms, forensic examination in oil spill cases, and white-collar crime.
